Cantallops - Alt Empordà
The Cellar “Vinyes dels Aspres” is located in the town of Cantallops in the Alt Emporda. We find the vines, all of them family-owned for generations, in this especially rugged corner. The winery favours traditional varieties that are better adapted to the country and with a bold personality, that both differentiate the wines and makes them unique.
David Molas, head of the cellar, will show you the nearby vineyards, and guide you through our facilities where and he will explain to you the process of winemaking. The tour will continue with both the new cellar and the old aging cellar. Later, in the dining room, you will taste all our wines and have the option of buying them.
The duration of the visit is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The visit to the winery can be complemented, in this case without a guide, with the discovery of our natural environment and architecture, particularly the village of Cantallops, the Castle of Requesens and the natural park of Albera. There are several restaurants in both Cantallops and Requesens where you can complete the day with an authentic meal from the Alt Emporda.
The price of the VISIT AND TASTING is €20, this consists of a visit to the vineyards, a visit to the winery and a tasting of 7wines.
The price of the LANDSCAPE TASTING is €35, this consisits of a visit to the vineyards, olive trees, a visit to winery and a tasting of 7 wines with a tasting of local cheeses, sausages amd sweet products.
